Restorative Nursing

Restorative Nursing

Restorative nursing focuses on maintaining the function of the individual over a prolonged period of time, enabling them to remain as independent as possible for as long as possible. In an effort to identify any risks for functional declines, our nursing and therapy staff will identify individuals that may be at risk for decline in a number of areas including: bed mobility, eating, transfers, toilet use, and range of motion. In addition, individuals that have recently fallen may also benefit from restorative nursing.

Our skilled restorative nurses and aids take the time out to provide restorative nursing care to each and every individual. Our program is designed to ensure that each person receives adequate functional gains in all areas of therapy and care.
