Coronavirus Announcement

During these unprecedented, The Lodge Nursing & Rehab Center’s Director of Nursing, Santanna Rapp, shares infectious control practices that all employees are following.

  1. The #1 practice to be following to break the chain of infection is proper hand washing with soap on hand sanitizer. Wash hands for a minimum of 20 seconds, ensuring you scrub the top of your hands, fingers, palms and finger nails.
  2. Do not touch your face, nose or eyes without performing hand hygiene.
  3. All staff in patient care areas will wear masks on all shifts. You can use either side of the mask and ensure you secure it properly the same way each time and securely press around the nose to secure the mask. Make sure to not touch the mask and do not pull the mask down.
  4. Coughing or sneezing- cough/sneeze away or into your elbow or a tissue, then immediately follow up with hand hygiene.
